ONYX Lighting Control & NETRON Data Distribution
Facilitator: Bertus Roux/Bruce Schwartz
A hands-on technical training session exploring Obsidian Control Systems’ ONYX lighting control platform, from system setup and fixture control to programming and networked data distribution.
Join us and learn:
• ONYX software setup, navigation and workflow
• Fixture patching, groups and presets
• Fixture control and programming
• Cues, playbacks and effects
• Introduction to DyLOS pixel and media control
• ONYX consoles and control wings
• Art-Net and sACN network configuration
• NETRON data distribution and integration with ONYX
• Practical programming and troubleshooting
The session will include hands-on demonstrations, giving attendees practical experience in configuring and programming an ONYX lighting control system.
Those topics also align closely with Obsidian’s own ONYX/NETRON training material, which covers groups and presets, fixture control, programming, effects, DyLOS and network configuration.
